For the new blog theme. Like or no like? Like but would prefer a Cork specific image in the header? Don’t like cos it looks like mud?
And while I’m here, we launched blognation Ireland on Monday. It is part of a fast growing global tech news network called blognation and it covers Web 2.0 and Mobile in Ireland. So if you are a techie or in a start-up and you read this blog but not Argolon (you nutter), check out the new site.

But you do need a different header image. What does Cork mean to you (braced for scary images)?

Damn, same response from d’wife. Have a few uber-techie ones I was trying out on argolon but thought they might not appeal to the non-techie reader base here. Myabe I should do a theme a day for a week and stick in a PollDaddy poll to get people to vote for their fave.
I could just put up a graphic of some cheese and maybe bacon. Or pictures of people turning right in the left hand lane of a roundabout

I like the tabs, but not the fuzzy brown header. A pic would definitely be nicer.

It’s a bit subdued… we have cushions that colour (the header). But it’s very neat…

I’ve tried to login to my gmail account when I’m in my photo-share software Picasa2 but it won’t let me. I can sign in on the general Gmail intro page though. I can’t see much use for Picasa2 used independently of gmail. I’d like to email photos thru Picasa2 etc.
But heck I studied Economics in UCC. What would I know.

Goddammit that seals it. I’m going hard-core techie when I find the right one. Disgusted to see a bunch win awards recently and find that half of them break totally on real-world blogs.

One positive thing, though, it is really easy to read, and that is HUGE, I hate blogs that have dark backgrounds and light letters, makes them nigh on impossible to read.

Yup. Black background on any site puts it on my ban-list. Usually done by pubescent boys highlighting their angst and gothism to the world.

I like the blue better, but am not gone on the peach at the side. I like the green under recent readers, gives a nice pop. Try gray instead of peach?

It has a nice style … maybe a nice header image would make it seem a littler warmer?
