Eight years ago yesterday

We found out that Catherine was pregnant with our first baby. She gave up smoking that instant. I wussed out for 24 hrs but eight years ago today I gave them up too. From 40 to zero overnight. One of the smartest things we ever did.

Yeah, scary, and that was an average day with no pub involved.
Pub night? Well take 40 and multiply it by 2.
What’s worse it that I only started in college. I basically smoked for my twenties.

I’d have thought that leaving here was the smartest move. But 40 a day? That’s touching close to 100e a week these days!!

Time will tell on the move……
Every time the price went up, I’d say “well if they go above X, then I’m quitting for sure”.
