Orla has a baby
My younger sister Orla gave birth to her first child last Saturday around 7.30 am. Hannah Rose is a wee titch, weighing in at a little over 6 lbs. She is an absolute stunner and all are well and at home already. Nana Rose is allegedly chuffed that all her granddaughters have Rose as their middle name. Our boys are now totally confused with two cousin Hannah’s. This summer should be fun with all the girly cousins on holidays together.

Two Upcoming weddings
We’re thrilled to hear that both Ciarán O’Colmáin and Ethna Winter are getting married (Ciarán in February and Ethna in January) Not many left to go now from the UCD Eng class of ‘90……. Ethna is having her celebrations in Tattersalls near Fairyhouse which is about 2 miles from where I lived until I was 6 years old. Great place.
Ethna’s other great news was the recent birth of her son Felix.

It's a baby alright
Had our scan today. Wee blobby is right on the predicted size for 9 weeks, 3 days. We expected Sibéal to be rivetted by the ultrasound but in fact she found the roller blind in the doctor’s office to be more interesting. All looks good. Not twins. Sigh of relief. Catherine has the finger rash so is pretty sure what it is going to be. Next scan probably in 8 weeks.

Another sprog on the way
And the most important news of all - another wee blighter on the way! Not due until next July. Scan tomorrow. Anyone got an Espace they want to swap for a Zafira? Fingers crossed it isn’t twins!

Blogspot Move
So I finally moved over to Blogspot so that publishing of this is now trivial and doesn’t require an ftp server somewhere. Hopefully this means I’ll post news more often. Also looking at MSN Spaces but I’ll stick with this for the time being. Tons of bits and pieces which I haven’t reported on over the past few months; new niece Rachel, new house in Old Chapel, Argolon work expanding nicely, waistline not expanding but not shrinking, and no christmas shopping done yet.

Matthew Roberts
More top class baby news from the Roberts'. Matthew Roberts was born 5th March, weighing in at 6lb 6oz. After a rough few days, the wee blighter is thriving. Sleep deprivation, sore nipples and post-natal hair loss are the order of the day, but lucklily that’s just Frank, Helen is doing great.

Sibéal Mary Rose O'Neill
Only 6 weeks late with this posting, but we are overjoyed to announce the birth of Sibéal Mary Rose O’Neill in St. Finbarr’s Hospital, Cork on October 31st. A fab wee sister for the other two monsters. Apart from sleep deprivation, all are doing brilliantly.
