Best TV programme so far in 2007. Despite myself I’m enjoying Fame Academy but it pales in comparison to the TV gold that was The Apprentice tonight.

Ancient Parisian restaurant still serving great food at amazing prices Review of Au Petit Riche Restaurant. 25, Rue Le Peletier, Paris, 75009, France Rating: 4 stars out of 5 A bunch of us geeks attended the pretty weak Le Web 3 conference in December 2006. The main party was on near l’Opera and we wanted to get something decent to eat (we’d had a Chinese the previous night!). Jan from Touristr is French and knew of an “institution” called Au Petit Riche which has been around since the mid 1800’s.

I still have the shakes and I don’t think it’s all drink related. Truly, madly, deeply stunned to win Best Blog Post at the awards last night. Thanks a million times over to all of you who voted for me. It was a bloody brilliant night overall and the highlight was Bernie refusing to take the “Best Contribution to the Irish Bloggersphere” award and giving it to Damien instead. A well deserved standing ovation ensued.

I’ve gone and got a Twitter account anyway. What is Twitter you may ask? Well it is a web-site where you say what you are doing right now. You can do it via web, SMS or IM. Cos we all have such interesting lives and all our friends need to know exactly what we are doing at every moment in time. “finger up right nostril” “finger up left nostril” “bogey rolling” “bogey flicking”.

What a great line-up for the final! Well done to everyone who got through, there is some real quality in there. A ton of my fave Irish blogs are listed. Looking forward to the night of the awards already. Will the concierge mind the baby tho?
