7-year old has discovered “am I bovvered”. Promised to show him Catherine Tate vs Doctor Who on Comic Relief # Can we have an EU-wide referendum to ban the use of the phrase “I’ll give it 110%”? Particularly on The Apprentice # Running Thunderbird 2.0.0pre. Rock solid and fewer problems than 1.5. Still has stupid “new mail notification” bug when spam is filtered. # considering using GMail fulltime but with backup using fetchmail to grab everything via POP and store on server here # @imeallach : trust no-one!

Some bloggy stats

My sense of my readership based on the comments is that the majority are non-technical non-bloggers so I thought I’d post some stats on blogging in gerneral as it is unlikely you read Dave Sifry’s blog. Dave is CEO of Technorati, the main blog search engine and the company responsible for things like the tags you see at the end of my posts and microformats, the technology we’re building our business, LouderVoice on.

Review of Casino Royale (2006) Movie

Best Bond since Goldfinger. Great plot, good acting, actually exciting stunts.
Review of product: [Casino Royale (2006) Movie](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0381061/)
Rated as 4/5 on Apr 03 2007 by Conor O’Neill Initially everyone hated the idea of Daniel Craig doing Bond. Then the movie came out and they all ate crow. We finally saw it on DVD over the weekend and it was worth the wait. It’s back to the cold, harsh, darkly witty Bond of old with so much of the baggage of thirty years discarded.

Nice mention of Irish OpenCoffees and Irish start-ups from Saul Klein. http://tinyurl.com/26snpw # Might even consider installing iTunes and stop calling Steve Jobs “Damien Thorn” after the EMI announcement of DRM-free music downloads # Steve Jobs, Damian Thorn, EMI, Thorn-EMI. Oh no, the apocalypse is upon us. # Ulster Bank Online Business Banking still stuck on IE4+ or Netscape 4.7. This level of incompetence shouldn’t be allowed near the web.
