JD, one of the most prolific commenters on this blog, let me know about some fax spammers called Prism Fax badgering his elderly parents. It appears that the white elephant known as the Data Protection Commissioner was utterly useless in dealing with this. If Brian Cowen is looking to save a few bob, I can think of one organisation that wouldn’t be missed if it was shut down tomorrow. Read the full story here.

Ivan San, this is brilliant.
I had dinner last night with a few citizens and one of the guests is a ‘senior’ manager with a direct marketing company. He sees no issue with this practice of fax spamming (worldwide). It made for interesting conversation. The same chap had as much integrity as a bald tyre (or is it Tire??)
BTW this is iPhone Central and I have bookmarked http://www.conoroneill.com on most of them so people can see how the other (healthier) half live! Thanks Conor!

Thanks for the blatant pimping of the blog JD. So many things I’ve supposed to have done posts on but haven’t managed. Must do a burst this weekend and take the Mulley approach of scheduling them for publication over the space of a week.
