American’s just get Paddy’s Day, we don’t.
I doubt I’ll find this in Mickey D’s in Douglas tomorrow.
Off the Broiler is a top notch Blog, well worth a read if you like yer food.
UPDATE: It appears this guy would really like to see the shake return.

The rumor was, when I was a kid, that if you stored one of these in your attic, it was still good at Christmas. . .

Damn, too late to pull that trick on my kids. Myabe next year.

Whatever about the attic, several years ago I kept the last one I managed to get my hands on in the freezer. Still tasted good after I defrosted it some months later after I found it in the back of the freezer caked in ice.
But alas then I was young and desperate for the love of a good shamrock shake. Now I realise that all good things come to those who wait and have only another 12 months to wait until my next taste.

I’ve already had three of em… Didn’t get any of those in Douglas though. Can’t beat an oul shamrock shake. Best thing to ever come out of mc donalds.
