Heard that alright. Will anything ever survive in that location? Was just saying to my wife the other day that I’d love to see the North Side of Bandon properly regenerated now that the nice new apartments are built. Something has to be done about North Main Street as a start.

Trucks trucks and more trucks. There is going to be an awful tragedy on Kilbrogan Hill one of these days. There is no regulation of the speed at all. There’s plenty of potential for the north side of Bandon but very little inertia.
Re the Brogan Inn I used to enjoy a read of the paper there on a Friday evening. Haven’t been out since it closed. Maybe it’s a sign??!! Been back to the Poachers since for a meal. Stunning.

I see there’s planning permission notices up on the Brogan, extension of the restaurant included. We’ll wait and see…

FYI The Brogan Inn closed last Sat week. Shame. Now I have to walk marginally further for a pint…
