When he shows a bit of respect for his people, then we’ll fucking talk."
what a depressing country. you always know you are reading an Irish blog when people cant express themselves without effing and blinding. Quite sad really.

Un-bloody-believable, the Government's Press Office influence extends to German t-shirt printers. <a href="http://www.caricatures-ireland.com/blog/german-law-and-the-disappearing-t-shirts/" rel="nofollow">All details here</a>.

I got a shipping confirmation for mine yesterday. If it actually gets here I'll auction it on eBay for charity since it looks like it'll be a collectors item.

Michael, please, the Office of Taoiseach ??
"I won the money on a horse"
From Haughey to Ahern, Dishonesty in Office:-
A suggested title for a book on the last 25 years ?
And you are worried about a cartoon.
You are a sad, sad, excuse for an Irishman.......

The absolute fucktardery of some people!

Where does satire come from? Why would someone choose to attack Mr. Cowen? Because he's failing his people and his country miserably, the defensive, arrogant, precious little bully.

Being nominated Taoiseach by a pack of buffoons after your predecessor quits in disgrace does not automatically entitle you to respect. Mr. Cowen has to earn it. And y'know, so far I can't say he's doing a bang-up job.

When he shows a bit of respect for his people, then we'll fucking talk.

Brian Cowen is a public figure. If he can't take satire or caricature, he should resign and run a pub.

I love the way "oh his poor wife/mother/granny/autie" is always brought up in things like this. Surely a headline like "Brian Cowen is thunderingly incompetent" would upset them more?

The Irish people respect the office of the Taoiseach. It's the bozos who regularly inhabit that office that they have a problem with.

I think last Sunday's Tribune has reached an all time low. Its says alot about the editor and the so called artist. Wasn't that a lovely mothers day for Brian Cowen's mother, his wife Mary and 2 young daughters. When Ian Paisley made an ignorant remark about Brian Cowen a number of years ago the Irish people were none too happy. What the Sunday Tribune has done is far worse, it shows a complete lack of respect to Brian and his family and also to the office of taoiseach. How would the editor of the Tribune like to be treated this way, he should show some decency if he has any and publicly apologise to Brian Cowen and his family
