I'm a big fan of the eBooks idea but I think it'll end up being a generic mobile device that wins the day. A HTC G1 with a slightly bigger screen and thinner body would do the trick for me. Having said that, I keep hearing of people buying the Sony eBook reader who would never buy a "computer" so maybe that's the trick the Kindle is playing too?
