		<description>A few weeks back, www.annaghmore.org had a facility to lodge an objection before the deadline for submissions. There was a form with a default list of complaints and all the reader had to do was enter their email address and name &amp; postal address if they agreed with the points.

There was a captcha to dissuade spambots and the sender had to click on a link in an email to confirm authenticity of the email address. Worked a treat, over 200 electronic submissions via the site and it only went live with 10 days before the deadline. People were only too happy to object once the process was made clear and easy for them.

This is the first time such an electronic campaign was used in Ireland to, hopefully, defeat such a daft proposal. The vote is on Dec 22nd....</description>
