Wow! Well done. And they know their BBQ in Texas. We can't wait to see the sauces make their way over here.

Thanks for the kind words, Conor. It is nice to have one's labor of love appreciated,

It seems the flavor carries the day for me. Two years ago I put out E.Z. Earl's sauces as a fun little "retirement lark". People really liked them and begin asking: "What grocery carries them?" I always laughed and replied: "Are you kidding? It is easier to become a rock star than break into the grocery business!" So, last Friday I signed my first commercial account. It happens to be the largest grocery distributor in the U.S. They already have over 50 groceries just in the state of Texas considering the product!

Go figure!! - E.Z.

How the hell did I not think of pork? The torrential rain might have something to do with it! I smeared some on a steak recently and it was fab. If it doesn't lash rain this weekend I'll do some ribs.

Excellent review. Hotter than hot is probably not for the fair Irish mouths indeed. There was a recipe doing the rounds amongst us Living-In-Rented-Houses in Dublin a few years ago regarding spicing up a roasted chicken. I can recall one of the gang smothering a pre-cooked chicken in an American-style baste or spicy/hot sauce that someone had brought back from a J1 summer in the USA and slow roasting the bird. The taste was exquisite but possibly too firey (I remember spending the hours after dinner gulping cider in the Merrion Inn in an attempt to bring down the core body temperature). Did you try anything with these sauces and pork?
