sorry to hear that

personally i am not a big fan of this type of restaurant, but when you asked me i think i had no idea of a restaurant around.

i think the restaurant is close to the us ambassy this may explain why so many armed people around

Stormtrooper 1 gave us an “au revoir”. Not sure if it was sarcastic or she had no memory of us after 40 minutes.

I’d love to know what all the armed police were doing on the street outside. Calming angry customers of Buddha Bar perhaps?

I’ve experienced Parisian snobbery often in the past and taken it as part of the scenery, but that is ridiculous. I’m surprised you weren’t acosted on the way out with demands of “Why you not order food?”. One to avoid in the future then…
