I know older phones were pretty easy but I’m almost definite there is no shortcut on newer ones – it requires special cables and software to do. Lots of guys in the UK do it, not so sure about here.

Have you googled for instructions on how to unlock that phone? I have unlocked vodafone phones before and it was just a case of finding the instructions for my phone online.
