We did get a special anti-histamine for the itch but Fionn too young for it. I did a fair bit of reading on it and no mention of the eyes. Fionn was also crucified with an agonizing sore throat so couldn't eat. All are well on the road to recovery now with just a few scabs left. Looks like I have escaped the damned shingles! Your poor baby! Spots on his head, eyelids and lips? The poor little thing! Right, I"m not a parent, so don't lynch me, but have they all seen the doctor? Should that child not be in a hospital to make sure the pox doesn't spread into his actual eye? Or is it only the measles that's dangerous to the eyes? Either way I hope they're all alright! And someone said it earlier, but having the chicken pox doesn't make you immune to the shingles, which is the adult version. So beware! And don't scratch! Mother of Jesus! Your poor baby! Video - wow! Good on ya, great idea, I'll have a look this morning. I'm so far behind the curve. So somewhere out on Evoca is a mumbled recording of me reading out one of my blog posts for my zero blind readers. Am I even allowed use the phrase "blind readers" without offending someone? Same thing with rubbing a baking soda & water paste over the welts while in the bath--my Outbreak of the Pox happened while I was living in Dun Laogharie, this was the Sandycove cure. As for the Irish tours--an Idea ahead of its time. I had a few responses, but without launching a major, and costly ad campaign with US foodie publications, I'm not too sure I can ever get it to fly. At about the same time I was trying to get some punters for my excursion, a country woman of yours--Noreen something or other, a bitter rival of fair Dareena--came up with the exact and suspiciously similar plan. I have her itinerary. It looks very ambitious, and a tad idealistic. Nothing like my more laid-back, get to know an area approach. However, the price was right and she had Bord Bia backing, so whose to say. . . . As for podcast listening. . .I know what you mean. I barely listen to half of the ones I subscribe to and during the summer that even falls away.
