You n me both! It does run in my wife’s family….
My Da just told me a nice funny story from way back in his Mount Street days.
It was 1966 and he was walking down the stairs with O’Reilly. A co-worker was walking up towards them with a big smile on his face.
O’Reilly says “O’Connor, what’s the smile on your face for?”.
O’Connor says “It’s my pleasure to inform you that we have just had our 5th child”.
O’Reilly replies “Congratulations on having the first half of your family”.
Three weeks later, O’Reilly’s wife gives birth to triplets – kids 4,5 and 6.

Ooh, tense times for you both.
Two take more than twice the energy but give far more than twice the fun back!
Know anyone selling a 9-seater? We are now in the market for real vans.

We have twins–2 sets. All girls. Glad the first one wasn’t or there wouldn’t have been more. As for the van–a bus seems like a better option. We haven’t found one here in the US to haul 7 of us and all the stuff needed for a modest trip anywhere.

Whey hey! Congratulations, you two!

Hey, congratulations.
If it’s your thrid then I’m very impressed. If it’s your second then run away. Fast!

It’s (cough) our, em, 5th.
If we were religious it might make more sense to people. As it is, they just think we’ve lost all our marbles.

Thanks Kate!
I’m serious about a van tho. Those Merc Viano’s cost a fortune. We’ll just have to borrow the VW Caravelle from our neighbours.

5? I am in awe.
Give it a few years and you’ll be able to start your own restaurant.

…trying to tease out the rush of thoughts… are ye mad?.. why am I not surprised?.. I’m delighted for you both!..
When does work begin on the house extension?

Congrats Conor from the O’Bs.
How about just getting a trailer. You could put all your gear in that. (Or else climb into it with a nice airbed and sleeping bag and let Catherine drive.)

I like your thinking Eoin. We have just discovered you need a bigger licence to drive a 9-seater so I think we’ll just have to strap Oisin to the roof.
The nutter would probably enjoy it. A recent conversation with him went like this:
“Dad I can’t fly like superman”
“How do you know son?”
“Well I was on Oscar’s window ledge in his room and I jumped off and I hit my face on the ground. And it was reallllly sore”
“Don’t you worry Ois, maybe your powers just need to grow. Maybe try flying up from the ground the next time, eh?”

Hope it’s not twins.
