It's very flat round here. If you make it over at point in the future then feel free to pay us a visit.

I should read more closely before I post. You're not in Ireland at all!

That's a great part of the UK you are in. I spent a very nice few days working in Cambridge and Ely a few years back.

I wasn't sure if it was the first, that's why I covered my ass and made the title a question.

I've subscribed to your blog - it is really excellent.

And you also like the Charcuterie book which I think is awesome.

Hmm, and I thought I was the only smoked salmon producer that was blogging!

Anthony has a website for his company too, which is something we *still* haven't sorted.

I'll look forward to reading the blog.

Best of luck.

The blogs basically ping each other to let them know they have been written about.

If both blogs are Wordpress-based, this happens automatically under-the-hood. If I was blogging and linking to a blog post on a Typepad blog, that person would probably have a http link called a trackback link which I would copy n paste into a box in Wordpress. When I publish my post, Wordpress would then use that link to ping that Typepad blog.

Wine sounds awesome! We're doing our summer holidays in France this year. I aim to "learn" a lot.

I've never done the Dublin-Cork train thing. At this stage it'd be nearly cheaper to fly! I guess Irish Rail cuisine hasn't improved much since I was a student then?

Conor,
Thanks for the plug! I haven't the faintest idea how my Dashboard knew that you had written about us in you blog! I clearly need a crash course in all this!
The Kinsale Farmers Market was a great success but I was in Dublin at an amazing tasting of wines hosted by Searson's Wine Merchants. I was there showing our Smoked Salmon and Smoked Chicken to an appreciative audience of restaurants, delicatessens and wine and food writers - so didn't have time to do justice to the great wines - such a Chateau Brane Cantenac, Cos D'Estournel and so on! A delicious red wine from Domaine Ott in Banyuls in the South of France was much appreciated!
Just made the 1900 hr train out of Dublin for Cork, looking forward to leisurely meal in the Dining Car, only to discover there wasn't one, just a pre-packed sandwich.... Brought me down to earth rapidly!
Better find out now what Track Back is; Irish Rail??
